Ziegler company “roll up” by leslie snyder

“Roll Up” EP
By Leslie Snyder
A cloud of uncertainty hangs over London, United Kingdom from an unsigned alternative/blues rock quartet called Ziegler Company. This “soul bearing” quartet sings songs about love, loss, and hopelessness sorrowful, but passionate vocals and “crisp” alternative/blues rock melodies that will surely “tug” at one’s “heartstrings.” Ziegler Company sounds similar to The Beatles, but with a much more melancholy tone throughout the quartet’s debut EP “Roll Up” which was released on January 30, 2014 featuring five “heart wrenching” tracks.
The uncertain journey begins with a ray of hope in the first track “Fall In.” This track features soulful vocal “breezy” alternative/blues rock melodies. This track is a heartwarming tale about a man who is desperately hoping to fall in love with a beautiful woman and be happy with her forever. Meanwhile, the uncertain journey continues with heartache in the second track “Slide.” This track features “brooding” vocals and “groovy” alternative/blues rock melodies that sound like a man sobbing uncontrollably. This track is a sorrowful tale about a man who is literally watching his life pass him by after his relationship with his former girlfriend ended. The sad man decided to sit around and mope rather than enjoy his hobbies.
Finally, the uncertain journey ends with hopelessness in the third track “It’s everywhere.” This track features “weeping” vocals and “eerie,” but “crisp” alternative/blues rock melodies. This track is about a lonely man who is telling a sad tale about how the world is full of deceit and disappointment all around him. The troubled man sees no hope in his future, and the troubled man feels that he will continue to be used and lied to by individuals that he once trusted.
Ziegler Company is a great unsigned alternative/blues rock quartet that sings songs about love, loss, and hopelessness with “sorrowful” vocals and cold, “crisp” alternative/blues rock melodies. The quartet’s debut EP “Roll Up” is perfect for those fans who like the “darker” form of alternative music.
