A fast train rolls out of West Chester, Pennsylvania from an unsigned hard rock/punk rock quarter called Rollin’ Loaded. Rollin’ Loaded has a rather post apocalyptic view of the world. This raucous quartet is not afraid to speak their minds. Rollin’ Loaded sounds similar to heavy metal icons Iron Maiden with their “screeching” vocals and “blistering” hard rock melodies that will cause one’s eardrums explode. Rollin’ Loaded released their “Riptide” on December 28, 2012 featuring four obnoxious tracks.
The ominous journey begins with the first track “One Minute Left.” This track features “howling” vocals and “thundering” hard rock melodies, along with a “thumping bass line. This track is a dark tale about the world quickly coming to an end. Meanwhile, fast living comes back to haunt a person in the third track “Riptide.” This track features “screaming” vocals and “grinding” punk rock melodies. This track is a sad tale about a man’s “hard partying” lifestyle carrying him off into oblivion.
Finally, the ominous journey ends with a glimmer of hope in the fourth track “Brainstorm.” This track features “snarling” vocals and “brooding” hard rock melodies. This track is an obnoxious rant about a man trying to figure out how to take over e world. Therefore, the man can live his life without outside interference.
Rollin’ Loaded is a high energy unsigned hard rock/punk rock quartet that is not afraid to go “full throttle.” The “Riptide” EP is a loud and ominous collection of music that reminds people not to take life for granted. Life is fragile and can be changed, or taken away from us in an instant.
