A loud ruckus is being raised in Dunellen, New Jersey from an independent rock quartet called Little Dipper. This raucous quartet sings about having fun and living life to the fullest even when the game of life can get a little bit rough. Little Dipper sounds similar to Led Zeppelin with their “screaming” and heavy, “grinding” rock riffs that will surely rattle one’s bones.
Little Dipper released their latest CD “The Last Broadcast” on May 2, 2014 featuring eleven “rowdy” tracks which includes the fourth track this is the single called “Can’t Shut Up.” This track features “snarling” vocals and “thunderous” rock riffs. This track is an obnoxious rant about a man who is very tired of his girlfriend’s constant complaining. The frustrated man vows to leave his annoying girlfriend if she does not change her awful behavior. Little Dipper is a great independent rock quartet who is not afraid to speak the truth about the game of life with brutally honest lyrics. When one listens to this quartet’s music they will without a doubt have a huge smile on their face.

“Delineate”

A huge storm is brewing in Columbus, Ohio from an independent death metal solo artist named Jonathyn Arthurs. Jonathyn Arthurs is a teenager who sings about doubt and gloom under the name The Dark and Bleak while sounding similar to Metallica with “growling” vocals and “slithering” metal melodies that sound like a lion bursting out of a cage. The Dark and Bleak released his latest CD “Delineate” on June 21, 2014 featuring ten ominous tracks which will cause listeners to get a severe case of “night sweats.”
The ominous journey begins with the first track “Voice of Desire.” This track features “growling” vocals and “slithering” metal melodies. This track is an angry tale about a young man who is angry about being judged by those individuals who do not understand his way of life and refuse to realize that the young man has many talents that could be helpful in society. Meanwhile, the ominous journey continues with the second track “Shards of a Once Glorious Statue.” This track features “growling” vocals and “eerie” metal melodies. This track is a gloomy tale about a young man who is upset about being mistreated by those individuals who were around him when he was supposedly doing the “right thing” by helping other people. However, the heartbroken young man feels very strongly that he was being used without so much as a “thank you.”
Finally, the ominous journey ends with deep sadness in the fourth track “Obscurity.” This track features “snarling” vocals and “icy” metal melodies. This track is a dark tale about a young man who is feeling extremely isolated. The lonely young man feels that the world has literally left him behind.
The Dark and Bleak is a promising young independent death metal solo artist who is not afraid to sing songs about the dark “underbelly” of society. The dark and Bleak lets death metal fans have a voice with his latest CD “Delineate.” This “brooding” collection of music will remind people that society can be very unforgiving.

Darkness hovers over Columbia, South Carolina from an unsigned alternative rock quintet called Nepotism. Nepotism sings an ominous single about one of the “evil” sides of society which is the drug culture. Nepotism released the “hard hitting” single “New American Drugs” (clean) on November 12, 2013. This track is an ominous and “gritty” tale about troubled individuals who need to use drugs in order to feel better. These troubled individuals feel like “outcasts” in society. So, these troubled individuals feel like they need to engage in undesirable activities in order to escape the emotional torment that they are feeling inside of themselves.
Nepotism features heavy, “grinding” alternative rock melodies and sorrowful vocals that will bring out the “gloomy” nature of the track. Nepotism sounds similar to Rage against the Machine with their dark alternative rock melodies. Nepotism is a great unsigned alternative rock quintet that is not afraid to sing about the “pitfalls” of substance abuse and what it has done to American society.

This “bone rattling” trio sings songs about hopelessness and self doubt while sounding similar to Slayer with their “gritty” vocals and “thunderous” metal riffs that sound like Godzilla “stomping” angrily through the streets at night with reckless abandon. Stonehaven released their latest EP “The Earth’s reset” on October 19, 2013 featuring five “haunting” tracks that will let one know that the element of fear is all around humanity in today’s society.
The haunting journey begins with the first track “Reply.” This track features “gritty” vocals and heavy, ominous metal riffs. This track is a lonely tale about a man who is literally living in a world of darkness. The angry man is “lashing out” at the people who are trying to help him find happiness in his life. Meanwhile, the haunting journey continues with heartache in the second track “Falling Down.” This track features “groaning” vocals and “thunderous metal riffs. This track is a heartbreaking tale about a couple who is on the verge of a “nasty” breakup. The couple is trying to pick out one another’s faults rather than trying to fix their relationship.

This track is a sad tale about a beautiful woman who feels worthless and has no hope in her life. The sad woman thinks that she does not deserve to be happy.

This track is a hopeful tale about a man who is leaving the town he loves in order to pursue his “rock and roll” dream. Anger oozes out of Seattle, Washington from a raucous independent skater punk/metal quartet called Slam Suzzanne. Slam Suzzanne sings songs about the absolute disrespect of authority, the “pitfalls” of constant partying, and the adjustment from the teenage lifestyle to adulthood with an obnoxious attitude sounding similar to The Ramones and Metallica with their “screaming” vocals and “thunderous” punk/metal melodies that sound like a freight train rolling down the tracks.
Slam Suzzanne released their re-mastered version of the CD “On the Floor with Your Mom” on April 20, 2014 featuring fourteen “ear piercing” tracks that will literally make one’s neighbors run for cover. This raucous quartet began their journey with a heavy underground following in the early 1990’s because of the “brooding” nature of the music that was coming out of Seattle during that period of time. However, Slam Suzzanne had their own “brash” and loud view of the world around them. This collection of music is relevant to today’s music scene because it gives punk rock fans a voice and a glimmer of hope.
The angry journey begins with the first track “No Food.” This track features “screaming” vocals and “thunderous” punk/metal melodies. This track is an obnoxious rant about a group of young kids who are feeling disrespected, or “starved” by those individuals who are in authority. These young kids are mad at the world because no one seems to care about their fears and needs. Meanwhile, the angry journey continues in the fifth track “Get Out.” This track features more “screaming” vocals and “brooding” punk/metal melodies. This track is an agonizing tale about a young man who is getting really tired of a party and the rowdy people who are making a huge mess in his house.
Finally, the angry journey ends with a walk down memory lane in the sixth track “Skate.” This track features “gritty” vocals and “thunderous” punk/metal melodies. This track is a reflective tale about a man who misses being a teenager and being able to ride his skateboard whenever he chooses to do so. However, the man realizes that adulthood carries a lot more responsibility.
Slam Suzzanne is a great independent skater/punk metal quartet. They are not afraid to speak their minds with loud and obnoxious melodies. This raucous quartet’s latest CD “On the Floor with Your Mom” will let people know that it is okay to be who they want to be and to have a great time.
